While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Joint statement by 80 countries: Gaza facing “worst humanitarian crisis” since start of war

NEW YORK, May 22, 2025 (WAFA) –

In a joint statement issued Thursday, 80 countries declared that the Gaza Strip is experiencing its “worst humanitarian crisis” since the start of the Israeli war on the territory on October 7, 2023, warning that civilians are now at risk of famine.

The statement was delivered to the United Nations as part of the observance of Protection of Civilians Week in Armed Conflict, and was published in full by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs on its official website.

“Our message is clear,” the countries stated. “Protecting civilians in armed conflict is not optional. It is a legal obligation under international humanitarian law and a moral duty we cannot neglect.”

Global lawmakers warn of famine in Gaza, urge for immediate end to Israeli blockade

Thursday 22-May-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

Dozens of parliamentarians from across the globe have issued an urgent appeal demanding immediate action to end the man-made famine in the Gaza Strip.

In a joint statement, the lawmakers blamed Israel’s ongoing blockade, tightened since October 2023, for severe shortages of food, medicine, and fuel that have pushed over two million Palestinians to the brink of starvation.

The parliamentarians cited data from the UN World Food Program showing that food supplies in Gaza have been exhausted, with over 80% of the population now reliant on humanitarian aid that is barely reaching them.

Reports from UNICEF and Save the Children painted a dire picture of widespread child malnutrition, including over 3,100 deaths of children under five due to hunger-related causes.

The lawmakers called for the immediate and unconditional opening of all border crossings, including Rafa'h, and the removal of all barriers before aid delivery.

They also demanded guarantees for the safety of humanitarian workers and for international monitoring to ensure compliance with humanitarian law.

Echoing these concerns, UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk warned that Israel’s restrictions on aid could amount to the use of “hunger as a weapon of war”, which is considered as a war crime under international law.

A separate UN committee investigating Israeli practices said there were “reasonable grounds” to believe the blockade could amount to genocide.

The parliamentarians emphasized that international law, particularly the Fourth Geneva Convention, prohibits the starvation of civilians and obliges all parties to allow aid delivery.

They urged the international community to intensify efforts to break the siege, stressing that neutrality in the face of such suffering is not an option.

The appeal comes nearly 20 months into Israel’s genocidal war in Gaza, which has so far killed an estimated number of 54,000 people and injured more than 122,000, with thousands still missing beneath the rubble of destroyed homes.

Euro-Med: Israel carries out systematic starvation campaign to expel Palestinians from Gaza

Thursday 22-May-2025

GENEVA, (PIC)

The Euro-Med Monitor has accused Israel of executing a systematic and deliberate campaign of forced displacement against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, stressing that this amounts to a crime of genocide.

In a statement on Thursday, the Geneva-based rights group said Israel’s military operations, displacement orders, and the use of starvation as a tactic were part of a larger political plan aimed at expelling the population from Gaza.

The Euro-Med linked the ongoing operations to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s recent remarks, in which he made the cessation of military aggression conditional on the implementation of a US-backed plan—originally proposed by President Donald Trump—to expel Palestinians from the besieged enclave.

According to the Euro-Med, at least 35 evacuation orders have been issued by Israeli occupation forces since the start of 2025, affecting more than one million people. Many of these orders targeted already displaced communities and were issued without direct military justification.

The group revealed that civilians were being crammed into small, overcrowded areas like Al-Mawasi on Gaza’s southern coast as a precursor to mass expulsion.

The rights organization also accused Israel of deliberately bombing so-called “safe zones” where displaced people had been ordered to relocate, citing a recent airstrike on Al-Mawasi that killed an entire family, which shows that these zones were “pre-planned killing sites.”

The Euro-Med Monitor warned that the campaign of forced displacement coincided with a broader strategy of starvation and destruction, describing conditions on the ground as catastrophic, with families forced to flee on foot without food, water, or shelter, and with no access to humanitarian corridors.

Calling the situation one of the clearest cases of planned mass displacement in modern history, the group urged the international community to act immediately.

It called for the enforcement of international law sanctions against Israel, the implementation of the arrest warrants issued by the International Criminal Court, and the suspension of all military, financial, and diplomatic support to Israel.

“The goal is no longer hidden. It is the forced removal of an entire people, carried out in full view of the international community,” the statement concluded.

He said that Israeli fighter jets targeted the house of the Abu Sabt family in the Al-Birka area in the city, claiming the lives of three civilians and injuring others.

Israel unilaterally ended the Gaza ceasefire agreement and resumed its aggression on the Strip on Tuesday, March 18, carrying out a wave of bloody airstrikes across the Strip and killing hundreds of Palestinians.

The death toll reached at least 3,613 with 10,156 others wounded, according to medical sources. In the last 24 hours, the bodies of 107 slain Palestinians and 247 casualties were admitted to Gaza hospitals.

The aggression was resumed amidst concerns over the deterioration of the humanitarian situation in the Strip given the ongoing siege and ban on the entry of medical and humanitarian aid.

Palestinian detainee from Gaza dies behind Israeli bars

RAMALLAH, May 22, 2025 (WAFA) –

The Commission of Detainees' Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoner's Society (PPS) confirmed the death of detainee 'Amr 'Hatim 'Oada, 33, from Gaza, on December 13, 2023, at the Sde Teiman camp.

The two organizations stated in a joint statement today that the Sde Teiman camp was the most prominent site for torture crimes against Gaza detainees after the genocide, in addition to a series of crimes and atrocities documented by institutions and reflected in the testimonies of released detainees, whose bodies, on the other hand, are living testimonies of those crimes.

The Commission and the PPS noted that detainee 'Oada was detained, along with his family, from their home at the beginning of the ground invasion of Gaza, on December 7, 2023.

It should be noted that the 'Oada was married and had three children.

They added that with 'Oada's death, the number of slain prisoners killed since the genocide rises to at least 70, including 44 detainees from Gaza, whose identities are known only.

Meanwhile, the number of slain prisoners documented by institutions since 1967 has risen to 307, whose identities are also known. This constitutes the bloodiest phase in the history of the prisoners.

The Commission and the PPS explained that the responses received by the institutions from the occupation army remain limited to the army's narrative and the notifications received by the institutions, in light of the continued detention of the slain prisoners' bodies and the failure to disclose the circumstances of their martyrdom.

It is worth noting that the occupation has repeatedly attempted to manipulate these responses by giving the institutions different answers, and some institutions have even gone to court to obtain a response that would resolve the fate of the detainee.

The two organizations emphasized that torture crimes were the main reason for the killing of the vast majority of martyrs after the genocide, in addition to medical crimes, starvation crimes, and rape crimes.

Tribal group accuses Israeli army of helping gangs to loot aid in Gaza

Thursday 22-May-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The Higher Commission for Tribal Affairs in southern Gaza has warned of a sinister Israeli scheme aimed at inciting chaos and orchestrating theft across the Gaza Strip by directing looting groups and facilitating the plundering of humanitarian aid.

“This scheme is part of a systematic effort to plunder humanitarian aid, which the occupation deliberately leaves unprotected, aiming to starve the population and hasten their forced displacement,” the Commission stated on Wednesday.

The Commission strongly denounced the Israeli occupation army’s refusal to provide security for aid shipments arriving through the Karm Abu Salim border crossing, accusing it of “abandoning aid trucks to be easily looted by thieves and gangs operating under its protection.”

“What happened at Kamal 'Udwan Hospital, where Israeli forces enabled gangs to loot and steal the hospital’s equipment and supplies, is not an isolated incident. Rather, it is a glaring example of the occupation’s systematic plan to spread organized chaos, directly overseen through its corrupt networks of collaborators and thieves who have sold themselves out and abandoned their national and tribal loyalties,” the Commission said.

“Those thieves have been stripped of their national and tribal identities, becoming mere instruments of the occupation’s criminal agenda,” the Commission added.

Toulkarm: 116 days since Israel's aggression began on the city and refugee camps

Toulkarm, May 22, 2025 (WAFA) –

The Israeli occupation forces continue their aggression on the city of Toulkarm and its camp for the 116th consecutive day, and on the 103rd day in the Nour Shams refugee camp, amidst escalating violence on the ground, massive military reinforcements, and detentions.

WAFA correspondent reported that the occupation forces are continuing their escalation on the ground through repeated raids on the city and the camps around the clock, using their military vehicles to move around neighborhoods and main streets, provocatively honking their horns and driving against traffic.

They also set up surprise checkpoints, particularly in the city center, Nablus Street, and Shuwaika Roundabout in the northern neighborhood.

In the early hours of the morning, the occupation forces detained two young men from the city after raiding their homes, both former detainees.

Meanwhile, occupation forces this morning set up a flying checkpoint around the Jabara Bridge gate at the southern entrance to Toulkarm.

They stopped vehicles, searched several of them, checked the IDs of their passengers, and detained a young man whose identity has not yet been determined.

At the same time, the occupation continues to impose a suffocating siege on the Toulkarm and Nour Shams refugee camps, accompanied by occasional gunfire and explosions.

Eyewitnesses reported that occupation soldiers carried out an explosion yesterday in the Balawna neighborhood of Toulkarm refugee camp, the details of which are unknown due to the tight siege and the ban on residents entering.

Meanwhile, occupation forces continue to prevent forcibly displaced families from returning to their homes or even checking on their property in the two camps, and are subjected to pursuit and gunfire when attempting to approach.

In recent days, Nour Shams camp has witnessed a demolition campaign targeting more than 20 residential buildings in its main neighborhoods, damaging neighboring buildings. This is part of the occupation's plan to demolish 106 buildings in Toulkarm and Nour Shams refugee camps, to open roads and alter their geographical features.

In a related development, the Dthinnaba neighborhood, east of the city, has witnessed the movement of occupation vehicles, patrolling the main streets, conducting extensive searches and combing operations, and obstructing the movement of citizens and vehicles.

The occupation forces also continue to seize homes and residential buildings on Nablus Street and the adjacent northern neighborhood, after forcibly evicting their residents and converting them into military barracks. Some of these buildings have been under occupation for more than two months.

The ongoing aggression has so far left 13 civilians dead, including a child and two women, one of whom was eight months pregnant.

Dozens have also been wounded and detained, and the infrastructure, homes, shops, and vehicles have been destroyed by demolition, arson, and looting.

The aggression has also displaced more than 4,200 families from the two camps, representing over 25,000 citizens. It has also completely destroyed more than 400 homes and partially destroyed 2,573 others. The entrances and alleys of the camps have been sealed off with earth mounds, transforming them into isolated areas almost devoid of any signs of life.

Illegal Israeli settler terrorism leads to forced displacement of Bedouin community near Ramallah

RAMALLAH, May 22, 2025 (WAFA) –

The Illegal Settlements & Wall Resistance Commission states that colonizer militias’ terrorism, sponsored by the official institution in the occupying state, led to the forced displacement of the Maghayir Al Dir Bedouin community, east of Ramallah, this morning.

The head of the commission, Minister Mu’awiya Sha’ban, added that the ongoing escalation of colonizer terrorism, which includes the establishment of structures within the community and the intimidation, terrorization and deprivation of basic necessities, ultimately forced the residents to leave the area. This is another crime to be added to a long series of horrific crimes committed by the occupation state, all committed under the guise and cover of the genocide the Israeli occupation state is committing against Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

Sha’ban added that the forced displacement of Bedouin communities' motive remains a serious concern, in light of the approach adopted by the occupying state to enforcing a coercive and hostile environment on these communities. This approach includes practices such as assault, intimidation, and the denial of access to grazing lands, water sources, and basic services.

He added that the ongoing settler assaults have, to date, led to the forced displacement of more than 30 Bedouin communities, comprising 323 families, from the place of their residence to other locations. The latest is the displacement of the Maghayir Al-Dair Bedouin community, located between Dair Dibwan and Mikhmas, which illegal settlers of 25 Palestinian families, totaling 124 individuals.

Sha’ban explained that since the beginning of 2025, colonizers have carried out approximately 1200 assaults. He added that 38% of these assaults targeted the Bedouin communities in the eastern slopes and the Jordan Valley, with a deliberate intent of forcing these communities to leave. These practices constitute a magnificent and dangerous violation of the most basic rules of international law.

He called on Palestinian people, in all their places of residence, not to remain passive against the audacity and terrorism of colonizer militias, stressing the importance of confronting these assaults both at the popular and legal levels in order to pursue legal accountability, whether through national judicial bodies or international organizations.

He also renewed his call on all institutions, factions, unions, and forces of the Palestinian national movement to uphold their highest national responsibility by taking immediate and practical steps to stand by our people in these communities, particularly in the Jordan Valley and Masafir Yatta.

This includes joining and activating night protection committees and maintaining a continuous grassroots presence. He concluded that any delay in this responsible national mobilization would only accelerate the plans of displacement and expulsion, giving colonizers more opportunity to impose new facts on the ground.

Illegal Israeli settler attacks shrine near Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem)

Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), May 22, 2025 (WAFA) –

An illegal Israeli settler attacked the shrine of Shaikh A'hmed 'Ali Ala-uddeen Al-Dajani, located in the Maman Allah Cemetery in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem).

The Jerusalem governorate stated in a statement on Thursday that the colonist broke the original lock of the shrine and replaced it, installed an electric and water clock, and brought his own furniture into the shrine, which dates back nearly five centuries.

He also removed the tomb inside, as well as the identification sign indicating the shrine's identity and history.

The governorate noted that a member of the Al-Dajani family, who maintains the shrine, discovered the attack during a regular visit to the site.

This prompted the family to file an official complaint with the Jerusalem Municipality, which evacuated the settler from the shrine on Wednesday and has so far refused to hand over the key to the new lock installed after the evacuation.

This constitutes a further violation of the family's rights to supervise and access the shrine, the governorate of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) said.

It held the occupation authorities fully responsible for this blatant attack on historic Islamic property, describing it as a fully fledged crime aimed at obliterating the historical and Islamic landmarks of the Holy City, as part of an ongoing colonial project aimed at altering the Arab, Islamic, and Christian identity of Jerusalem.

Residents of Maghayir Al-Dair community forcibly displaced due to colonist attacks

RAMALLAH, May 22, 2025 (WAFA) –

Palestinian families in the Maghayir Al-Dair community, located between the towns of Dair Dibwan and Mikhmas, east of Ramallah, were forced to dismantle their homes and forcibly leave the community, under the pressure of colonist attacks in the area, which are being carried out under the protection and cover of Israeli occupation forces.

The Al-Baydar Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights reported in a statement on Thursday that residents of the Maghayir al-Deir area, east of Ramallah, began dismantling their homes this morning and leaving the community.

This followed an escalation in colonist attacks on the area, including the closure of pastures, the storming of homes and the violation of their sanctity, the assault on women and children, the seizure of agricultural vehicles and tractors, the theft of livestock, and the establishment of a pastoral colonial outpost among the homes within the community.

She added that all Palestinian families in the community have begun evacuating the community and will leave their homes and move to a safer location due to the escalating settler violations against them. She explained that the forced migration of families from the community began months ago.

Several days ago, colonists seized a sheep barn belonging to a family from the 'Arab Al-Mulai'hat tribe in the Maghayir Al-Dair area. They began erecting a tent and a metal fence around it, and brought a group of livestock to the pen.

The Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission monitored settlers' attempts to establish 10 new colonial outposts during the month of April, predominantly agricultural and pastoral.

WFP warns limited aid insufficient to prevent famine in Gaza

NEW YORK, May 22, 2025 (WAFA) –

The World Food Programme (WFP) warned on Thursday that the limited humanitarian aid recently allowed into Gaza is far from sufficient to avert the looming threat of famine in the war-torn enclave.

In a post on its official X account, the WFP emphasized the urgent need for greater volumes of essential food supplies to be delivered to the population in Gaza, stating: “Bread alone is not enough for people to survive.”

The statement came as several bakeries supported by the WFP resumed operations in southern Gaza following the arrival of small quantities of flour. While welcoming the partial revival of bread production, the UN agency cautioned that the scale of assistance remains drastically inadequate.

“A handful of bakeries in Gaza are baking bread again after receiving limited supplies overnight,” the WFP noted. “This is a critical first step — but assistance must be scaled up. More essential food is needed to push back the risk of famine.”

The organization reiterated its call for the immediate and sustained entry of large-scale food aid and basic necessities to prevent mass starvation, as Gaza continues to endure a catastrophic humanitarian crisis resulting from a full-fledged Israeli blockade since March 2.

Microsoft bans the words “Palestine,” “Gaza,” and “genocide” in internal emails

WASHINGTON, May 22, 2025 (WAFA) –

Microsoft has banned the words “Palestine,” “Gaza,” and “genocide” from being sent to recipients inside and outside the US computer giant, according to the Verge website.

The website reported that Microsoft employees have discovered that any emails they send with the terms “Palestine” or “Gaza” are getting temporarily blocked from being sent to recipients inside and outside the company.

It added that the No Azure for Apartheid (NOAA) protest group reports that “dozens of Microsoft workers” have been unable to send emails with the words “Palestine,” “Gaza,” and “Genocide” in email subject lines or in the body of a message.

It reported NOAA organizer 'Hosam Nasr saying: “NOAA believes this is an attempt by Microsoft to silence worker free speech and is a censorship enacted by Microsoft leadership to discriminate against Palestinian workers and their allies.”

Microsoft claimed that it has implemented some form of email changes to reduce “politically focused emails” inside the company.

The block was revealed by NOAA, a group of pro-Palestinian Microsoft workers, who say the company quietly activated the filter on its Exchange servers shortly after a protest at Microsoft Build 2025. Microsoft is facing internal backlash over its provision of cloud services and AI tools to the Israeli occupation forces.

On Tuesday, activists, including a former Google employee and members of the "No Tech for Apartheid" movement, interrupted Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella during the opening of this year's Microsoft Build Conference. They were protesting Microsoft’s involvement in supplying technology, including AI systems, for supporting Israel’s ongoing genocidal aggression on Gaza, which resulted in the killing of 53,762 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injuring 122,197 others.

ICC prosecutor urges judges to reject Israel's bid to halt Netanyahu arrest warrant

THE HAGUE, May 22, 2025 (WAFA) –

The Office of the Prosecutor at the International Criminal Court (ICC) has opposed Israel's request to withdraw arrest warrants issued for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, arguing there is "no legal basis" for doing so and urging judges to proceed with the investigation into alleged crimes committed in Gaza.

In a ten-page legal submission posted on its website on Wednesday, prosecutor Karim Khan responded to Israel's filing earlier this month. Israel has asked the court, or the Pre-Trial Chamber I, to withdraw the warrants and suspend the ICC's investigation until a ruling is made on Israel's challenge to the court's jurisdiction.

The prosecutor emphasized that "there is no basis to withdraw or vacate the warrants," asserting that the court had already determined that Netanyahu and Gallant's alleged actions fall within the court's jurisdiction. The ICC previously found "reasonable grounds to believe" the two officials bear responsibility for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza between Oct. 8, 2023, and May 20, 2024.

Israel's jurisdictional challenge had been dismissed in November 2024, but the Appeals Chamber reversed that decision in April 2025, citing insufficient reasoning. However, the prosecutor clarified that this reversal "has no bearing on the warrants."

In conclusion, the prosecutor asked the judges to deny Israel's request to withdraw or vacate the arrest warrants, and "reject Israel's request for a suspension of the investigation into the situation in Palestine."

In November 2024, the ICC issued arrest warrants for Netanyahu and Gallant for "crimes against humanity and war crimes." In February 2025, U.S. President Donald Trump imposed sanctions on the international body, including financial penalties and visa restrictions, blaming the court of being "engaged in illegitimate and baseless actions targeting America and our close ally Israel."

UNESCO calls on Israel to refrain from actions that hard Nablus-area archaeological site

PARIS, May 22, 2025 (WAFA) –

UNESCO called on Israel to refrain from any actions that could harm the archaeological site of Sebastya, emphasizing the collective responsibility to protect the site's exceptional historical and cultural values for present and future generations.

After being informed of the ongoing construction and development projects, as well as the archaeological activities carried out by the Israeli Ministry of Heritage at the site, UNESCO emphasized that all such work must comply with international law and be carried out with the consent and cooperation of all parties concerned, in accordance with the 1956 Recommendation on International Principles Relating to Archaeological Excavations and the principles of relevant UNESCO conventions.

In turn, Ali Abu Zuhri, member of the Palestine Liberation Organization's Executive Committee and Chairman of the National Committee for Tangible and Intangible Heritage, welcomed UNESCO's position, stressing that it is an important step in the right direction toward protecting Palestinian cultural heritage, especially in light of the increasing threats facing the site of Sebastya. He also expressed his appreciation for UNESCO's willingness to continue coordination and take the necessary measures within the scope of its mandate.

He noted that UNESCO's position is constructive, encouraging practical steps, including sending an urgent monitoring mission to the site to assess the imminent threats and strengthening cooperation with relevant Palestinian authorities, in line with the organization's mandate and international obligations.

Abu Zuhri stressed the need for the committee to continue working closely with UNESCO to ensure the protection of the site of Sebastya and all threatened cultural sites, reaffirming the State of Palestine's continued commitment to preserving heritage as an integral part of the national identity and collective memory of the Palestinian people.

He condemned the Israeli Antiquities Authority's unilateral excavation and development activities in occupied territory, without the consent of the occupying power and in complete disregard of international law and relevant UNESCO resolutions. He emphasized that these activities constitute a flagrant violation of the occupying power's obligations and pose a direct threat to the site's identity and historical nature.

Sebastya, which has been on the State of Palestine's tentative list since 2012, is a site of deep-rooted cultural significance, reflecting the succession of civilizations in Palestine. It is a cultural site protected by several international legal instruments, most notably the 1954 Hague Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict, its 1999 Second Protocol, and the 1972 World Heritage Convention.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verbs "abduct" and "kidnap" than the verbs "detain" and "arrest," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.
